Born and raised in Argentina, at age 13, Priscila Ortiz came to America with her family to begin a new adventure. Having grown up around a hair salon, hair was her passion from an early age, and she knew she wanted to pursue it as her life’s work. While still in high school, she enrolled in an academic school of cosmetology to study hair. After graduation, as a single mom with a newborn baby, in 2007 she embarked on her new career.

Training in a salon for the first year and a half, she honed her skills while soaking up knowledge and learning new skills and techniques from 14 of her associates at one of the best hair salons on Hilton Head Island—an experience she says was vital to her growth and success.

For the next few years, she entered the Great Lengths Challenge, sponsored by one of the top providers of hair extensions. She also participated in the Oribe Backstage Inspiration Challenge, her team taking first place, and was a finalist under the Salon Team category in the NAHA (North American Hairstyling Awards). Locally, she was voted Best Hairstylist in the Island Packet’s Readers’ Choice Awards in 2014.

With a solid education and plenty of experience under her belt, at age 25, Priscila decided to open her own salon where she could create an inviting and warm atmosphere for her clients. She is the proud owner of Hair Loft Salon, where she makes “hair magic” happen for a multi-generational clientele.

Cancellation Policy

The Hair Loft understands that sometimes there are unavoidable circumstances that can conflict with your scheduled appointment and therefore cause you to cancel.

As a courtesy to our guests and team members, we ask that any cancellations and rescheduling be given 48 hours notice of your already scheduled appointment. Any cancellation made after the 48 hours required cancellation period will be subject to a 50% charge of your service fee prior to rebooking. Missed appointments with no courtesy call are subject to a charge in the full amount of the service. The salon offers an email and text reminder for your scheduled appointments.

*Please note: No-shows and cancellations without a 48-hour notice will require a deposit to schedule a new appointment and hold the time slot on the stylists’ schedule.
